Once he had completed medical school, he spent his Residency at the University of Michigan where practiced Internal Medicine, a complex medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. In addition to practicing as an internist, Dr. Leitner was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada.
Following a successful medical career, Dr. Leitner decided to continue his personal and professional development and enter into the field of law. He began his legal career by earning his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was admitted to practice law by the Wisconsin Bar Association in 2010. After suffering the loss of his father, who passed away without any estate planning documents to guide his family, Dr. Leitner was inspired to assist his clients in the areas of estate and incapacity planning.
